Journee McDaniel immediately stood out to our staff with her shot-blocking ability. As a big guard she was able to position her body, whether guarding her man or recovering helpside, in a way to swat the ball while preventing herself from drawing the foul. Journee’s impressive versatility was on display when she extended the defense and got her shot off beyond the 3-point line.
