When we first stepped courtside Elle Sutphin immediately caught our eyes. Listed as a 6'3 forward, Elle impressively pushes the ball out of the paint starting her own fast breaks. Her all around skillset is a nightmare for opposing coaches. Her length gives her the advantage on the perimeter for smaller guards to contest shots. Her speed & ball handling skills made it difficult for bigger defenders to stay in front of her. We couldn’t help but pay attention to her unselfish play on the court and her character off the court. While her teammates were probably getting their rest, she was busy coaching the younger team. Needless to say NC State is getting a "GEM", an all around great player on and off the floor.
